Investment Strategies

Willow Capital creates value by simplifying complex assets and situations. We seek opportunities where we can apply our expertise and execution ability to unlock value and deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns. Our investments include englobo land, real estate, telecommunications assets and core infrastructure. In all of our pursuits, we work closely with property owners, investment partners, regulatory authorities and the Government. We employ four key investment strategies to create value: Partnership, Assembly, Subdivision and Simplification.

Partnership

Our investments are underpinned by the partnerships we forge with stakeholders. Through partnerships, joint ventures and structured agreements, we are able to maximise value whilst insulating our down-side exposure during the early, high-risk investment phases that require statutory planning, regulatory approval or product development.

Assembly & Subdivision

We often navigate the complex process of assembling or subdividing assets in order to create value. Many of our investments involve amalgamating properties, subdividing land or pooling leases into diversified portfolios. Our firm is positioned to undertake this type of complex coordination by leveraging our expertise and execution ability.

Simplification

Willow Capital’s core method of creating value is by simplifying complexity. After we develop and stabilise an asset or a portfolio, our goal is to deliver a simplified, de-risked offering to our investment partners or the market. Whether it is a serviced and benched logistics estate or a diversified portfolio of telecommunications leases, we focus on creating compelling investment opportunities for large institutional investors seeking well-structured exposure to Australian assets with low volatility.
